CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE

 

The Chrysler Crossfire is sold by Daimler Chrysler dealer as a replacement vehicle for the Plymouth / Chrysler Prowler. It is a rear wheel drive sports automobile. It is built in Germany by Karmann and shares many of its parts with other models of Mercedes automobiles.

The chassis of the Chrysler Crossfire combines S Class rear linkages, a modified C class Configuration compartment, a pre-2003 CLK floor plan, and brand new stampings for its rear and side rails. The Chrysler Crossfire is available as both a roadster and as a coupe.

The designer made sure that the alarm system  is of high standards and traction control is one of a kind.

The automobile was originally introduced as a concept automobile. The car was put in to production in the year 2003. Eric Stoddard designed the Chrysler Crossfire.

In the year 2007, the Chrysler Crossfire was discontinued in the United States of America and Mexico due to poor sales. The car continues to be offered in Canada and the European Union, however. In the year 2008, the Chrysler Crossfire will once again become available in the United States of America.

The Chrysler Crossfire takes its name from the distinctive character lines that can be found on the sides of the car running from the rear to the front.
